After having several trials with several makeup and hair artists in Long Island, I finally found an amazing pair - Alexandra and Jennie! They are both extremely talented, professional, friendly, reliable and radiate a positive energy that made me feel at ease and even more excited for my big day! They worked with me to discover my dream look...and I can't wait to work with them on the morning of my wedding. Alexandra & Jennie, It has taken a bit longer then I anticipated but I wanted to thank you for the fantastic job the both of you did on my wedding day. I loved the fact that the both of you showed up exactly when you said you would, 6am, prepared and professional. Your being on time allowed me to relax and not worry about anyone being late. You allowed yourselves time in case a snag occurred, and since it did not, everyone was ready with time to spare. The hair and makeup was amazing! I am very sensitive to heavy makeup and hate the caked on feel. With your makeup I did not feel it at all during the 12 + hour day. I was able to look and feel like myself but just more special for the day. The rest of my party thought the makeup was fantastic because it felt so light and brought out their natural beauty and didn't make them look like someone else. The hair was beautiful and stayed the way you set it all day (for everyone); through morning, afternoon, evening, ceremony, and dancing. I received your thank you note and the lip gloss which was much appreciated. It is extremely difficult to find good lipstick/lip gloss that is a great color and stays on well. You found it and sent it to me! It was a pleasure to work with you; you were both obviously skilled, extremely pleasant, nice and appreciated that it was my special day.
